Bergland Retreat Center –  The Bergland Retreat Center is our 24 hotel-style room center.  web_BergTwenty-three of the Bergland rooms have a queen bed, a twin bed, and a trundle bed. The other two have a king bed, pull out bed in one room and two twin beds in the other. The Berglands conference room that can seat up to 150.  Meals are served in our dining hall which is just a short walk away.  We can set up the conference room with either tables and chairs, or conference style seating.  PA sound system, projector, screen, TV and DVD, and keyboard can be provided at no extra charge.

New Cabins – Four newly built cabins were a welcome addition to our grounds.  Each of the cabins sleep 20 people, and are heated and air-conditioned to ensure year round use.  All cabins are within easy walking distance of our bathhouse.

A – Frame Cabins –  Stalwart standouts from the first days of Camp Rockfish, these cabins are still a cut above the rest.  Fully heated and air-conditioned to ensure year-round use.  Cabins 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 are divided up into 2 rooms that can sleep 8 on one side and 10 on the other.  Cabin 3 sleeps 14 people in one large room with an additional side room that sleeps 2.  All cabins are in easy walking distance of our bathhouse.

Yurts –Wanting to get away, yet maintain some comfort?   Our yurts are a perfect fit.  Located within the woods yet still air-conditioned and heated, our twin yurts are a refreshing change from ordinary cabins.  Each yurt holds up to 7 people.

Tree houses – For the truly rustic experience, our 2 tree houses stand high above the rest of our cabins.  Tree houses offer an experience unlike any regular cabin.  Once you climb one of two ladders to get up to your bird-like roost in the trees, you can walk the deck or retire to your bunk indoors.  One tree house sleeps 7 people and the other sleeps 8.

web_dininghallDining Hall – With new renovations finished just a few years ago, our dining hall can now seat 300 people.  Consisting of two separately partitioned rooms, a juice and coffee bar, and a staff that will work to accommodate any menu you present, your satisfaction is  guaranteed.

Bathhouse – Centrally located to all Rockfish cabins.  Heated in the colder months, our bathhouse has enough toilets, sinks, and showers with attached dressing rooms, to accommodate even the largest of groups.

Lodge – This building won the North Carolina Architectural Design of the year when it was built in web.insideoflodge1964, and it remains impressive to this day.  The lodge once contained every core aspect of camp; while the camp was added onto and expanded, certain aspects were removed, yet the lodge still remains at the center of camp, a reminder of the endurance of the values that Camp Rockfish was built on.  This is a great indoor space with a lot of charm that can hold up to 75 people at a time.  PA sound system, projector, screen, TV and DVD, and keyboard can be provided at no extra charge.

Camp Store – Attached to the Lodge and fully air-conditioned, our newly renovated store contains many different items from souvenirs to snacks.  Clothing, mugs, keychains, cold drinks, snacks, candy, ice cream; let the camp store be your oasis during your visit and a way to remember us after your event.

web.naturecenter.comEnvironmental Education Center – The place you will learn the most about the outdoors while indoors.  Our EEC contains a number of live animals, and guests can opt to have the chance to interact with these animals and learn more about their native environments.

Chestnut Pavilion –  Our largest pavilion at camp, this area borders Rockfish Creek and is within easy walking distance of our Outdoor Chapel.  The pavilion has its own bathrooms, and a fire pit with benches and a playground make a complete camping experience available in this one space.

Pool Pavilion - A shelter adjacent to the Rockfish pool, beach volleyball and pool bathhouse.  This is a great location to have a relaxing day time event for your group.

Tent Camping - Some groups come to Rockfish and want to use our facilities to tent camp. We have two areas for this. The smaller of the two can hold about 30 people and the bigger one can hold 75 people.  Both of these sites have water and bathrooms.
